Collagen Solutions develops, manufactures and supplies medical grade collagen biomaterials for use in research, medical devices, and regenerative medicine. Customers include some of the largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies in the world.
The Challenge
Collagen Solutions was operating across multiple continents, with leadership teams in New Zealand and Scotland. Coordinating strategy, approvals, and creative development across extreme time zones added complexity to an already ambitious mandate.
At the same time, the company was undergoing a significant shift in business direction. They needed to elevate their brand from a respected supplier to a clearly defined global leader in medical-grade collagen—one that could stand shoulder-to-shoulder with the world’s largest pharmaceutical and medical device companies.
The Approach
Fusebox led a full rebrand and digital overhaul, starting with positioning Collagen Solutions as the premier authority in bovine collagen innovation. We developed a refined visual identity and messaging system that emphasized scientific credibility, precision, and global scale.
Despite the geographic spread, we implemented a tight, structured collaboration process to keep momentum high and decisions aligned. The new website was designed and built with e-commerce integration to better serve international markets, while ensuring clarity for highly technical audiences.
The brand system was extended across print collateral, trade show environments, and product packaging to ensure consistency at every touchpoint.
The Outcome
The rebrand successfully repositioned Collagen Solutions as the world’s leading supplier of medical-grade collagen. The clarity and credibility of the new brand played a key role in supporting the company’s growth and visibility within the life sciences sector.
Shortly after completion, Collagen Solutions was acquired by a major industry competitor. At the time of the sale, the CEO described hiring Fusebox as “the best business decision I ever made.”
